The Wood Base:
Castle Rock showcases wood's natural beauty and is the best choice for the best space. Consisting of a single slab of natural and beautiful wood with the sides cut providing a multidimensional view of natural beauty. The meticulously handcrafted Castle Rock slabs are constructed with natural wood slices instilling a sense of beauty with multiple species of wood. Embedded in the surface is a spring steel plate for attaching the cage to the 12”x5.5” wall mounted opener. There are holes in each corner with an aluminum spacer, along with provided hardware, for a strong mounting method to any wall. The finish to the wood begins with a fine hand sanding and then a healthy coat of a orange oil and beeswax mixture. The Castle Rock is composed from a variety of different species such as Aspen, Apple, Cherry, Elm, Oak and others. Our unique manufacturing process enables us to provide a slab of slices that appear to float and simply stick to each other while providing a product that is as strong as it is beautiful. The wood used for our slices are completely sustainable because we collect trimmings from our local community!
The Cage:
Our bottle opener is very unique due to the beautiful cage! Our beautiful cage is a compelling purchase in itself, and is included at no extra cost to catch the bottle tops. The cage is easily attachable/detachable by multiple powerful N42 neodymium magnets- simply pull . It is made from pure copper and stainless steel. The copper has initial dimensions of 1"x.012" creating a rugged frame for the 1/4" stainless steel mesh preventing sticky messes and made for an easy clean. The copper is hand pounded to provide a beautiful decorative finish. To bring these components together we use stainless steel and copper rivets.
The Opener:
To top this off, the opener comes with a choice of three different finishes (bronze, copper, or stainless steel). The bronze and copper finishes are applied to an aluminum frame where as the stainless steel is solid steel.
